Chickadee
The Chickadee is Robin’s personal tiny house and office. It is the first in her signature line of tiny houses. These houses will be created and built as artistic expressions with varying themes.
The Chickadee was started during the first Build Tiny workshop and has been part of many different workshops. From trailer prep and attachment to framing, wiring, radiant tubing and cabinet making, this house has provided a canvas for learning.
The blend of reclaimed, leftover and new materials offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The reclaimed oak forms the loft joists and cabinet faces. The leftover radiant panels, tubing and controls keep the house and floor nice and warm. The new open cell foam insulation fills the walls and ceiling with high efficiency insulation to keep the house comfortable and quiet.
